4. Notifications

After Battletech Live goes active, several notification systems will be put into action.  An email will be sent to players who are currently engaged in a battle when it’s time for their next turn.  The email will also inform the player of what events took place  during the preceeding round.  A widget will be made available for iGoogle, OS X Dashobard and iPhone.  SMS text messages will also be enabled to provide brief updates about game progression.  Players may elect to receive messages when they receive new mail from other players, when auction items sell or when desired items become available for auction.
